- St. John of the Cross
- St. Teresa of Avila
- Meister Eckhart

| Week 1 | What is Mysticism? A brief overview of the four mystics: Julian of Norwich, St. John of the Cross, St. Teresa of Avila, Meister Eckhart. |
| Week 2 | The Mystical states. Part 1 Julian of Norwich. |
| Week 3 | The Way of Mysticism. Part 2 Julian of Norwich. |
| Week 4 | The two means of approaching God. Part 1 St. John of the Cross |
| Week 5 | St. John of the Cross - his teaching on Prayer. Part 2 St. John of the Cross. |
| Week 6 | The place of visions etc. on the spiritual journey. Part 1 St. Teresa of Avila. |
| Week 7 | Relating the world of the mystics to our own lives. Part 2 St. Teresa of Avila. |
| Week 8 | 'The Man from whom God hid nothing' Part 1 Meister Eckhart. The essential need for detachment. Part 2 Meister Eckhart. |
| Week 9 | Summary of term. Open questions and answers. |
