The term runs for 9 sessions and the course fee is €100 (enrolment online or first day of attendance). Starting Saturday 06 October 2018.

Each session is stand alone, no previous knowledge is necessary.

Classes are interactive with lively discussion on the weekly reading of the dialogue.

The emphasis throughout is on the practical application of the teaching in our modern world.

This term we will be studying Book 8 of Republic with the theme of Five forms of Government.

The Stanford Encyclopaedia of Philosophy

describes Plato as

Plato offers Insights not doctrine , Dialectic not dogma allowing the timeless reasoned argument to prevail.
